Branick Firewood started in 2008 by supplying firewood to family, friends and local residents. The demand for consistently good firewood and dependable service soon became clear. We put customer service at the forefront of our business and stand behind the product we deliver.
Today, Branick Firewood serves customers throughout Guelph, Fergus, Orangeville, Shelburne, Mono, Alliston and surrounding communities. In addition to firewood delivery, we offer custom processing at your site, tree removal and stump grinding. Quality firewood and dependable service remain the hallmarks of our business.
TYPES OF FIREWOOD
Our seasoned hardwood can include the species shown below. The exact mixture in each order depends on current inventory and availability.
Maple
Common in Southern Ontario, maple provides consistent heat and is a popular hardwood for keeping a wood stove warm overnight.
Ash
An easy splitter, Ash has excellent coaling qualities and is great for getting a nice warm fire burning in a short time.
Oak
Dense and high in heat output, oak is a good choice for maintaining a steady fire throughout the day.
Black Cherry
A reddish hardwood with dark bark, black cherry has a pleasant aroma and can produce a distinctive flame when burned.
Birch
Birch has a pleasant smell and familiar crackling sound. It lights readily and is a good choice for getting a fire started.
Beech
Recognizable by its smooth grey bark, beech is a dense hardwood that provides reliable heat on cold nights.
